My first Sony Experience is with my Sony Digital camera

She witnessed the cheers, the gleaming faces, the pose that talk different stories – the victories, the candid laughter, the striking masquerade, the giggles of get together, the tears of parting, the defeat, and the hope of gleaming eyes. More to these, she made history; she nurtured friendship, bridged the gap of loneliness, and captured the firsts in life that will last for a life time.

It was on June 2003 during my high school graduation when I received her, a wonderful present and priceless in use. I was flying on cloud nine. I was the first at school to have her. That made a real history in my journey in life, the commencement in the recording of my firsts in life. Graduation was pretty sad but I was able to enjoy the last moments with my friends by capturing their smiles, my first time to capture their cheery faces. After that, my friends went on to different schools, but I wasn’t sad at all because I got the life time memories of them.

She was with me in my journey throughout college life, during my “firsts” in the struggles of coping with the pressures and demands at school and at the same time my “firsts” in TGIF gigs, joyrides and side trips. The first thing that she made a blast in my academic life was with my group’s community documentation. Being a student nurse, going to community service and duty was a tough job coupled with the thought-provoking, detailed documentation. That was a big challenge for us and fortunately with her help, my group’s first community-diagnosis document presentation was a total blast; we received the Best Documentation Award. She made clear proof of our struggles, crams, and working out till wee hours. With that awesome “first experience”, everything followed in an astounding way. The time we were exposed to the hospital environment, she made the “firsts experience” unforgettable. Every hospital unit became a photo studio; the group hugs at the Operating Room after a success abdominal surgery, the striking pose of tired bodies but with glowing smiles after a nerve-wracking ER experience, the jovial stance after seeing a baby born, and other countless “firsts” hospital duty experience.

But of course college life isn’t complete without the shenanigans, gigs, drinking spree, and unplanned road trips and my dear fella she was there – always there to record the special events and the not so special events but would definitely be after years, or maybe at the time when we’re all toothless. But the biggest impact that she gave to me was the priceless remembrance with my beloved clients. The memories with a 5-year old boy with a grave congenital heart disease that every click from her made my client smile. My first experience at psychiatric centers with my friendly clients who were very amused looking at our group pictures during the dance presentation, recreational activities, and group study. My first experience with a mother who underwent caesarean delivery of her first baby that the picture I took with his daughter at the Neonatal Intensive Unit made a great relief on her part. My first experience with a family who suffered a protracted pain of seeing their son lying on bed with tubes of respirator that the only way they could spend their time with him was to say stories and to take pictures. And my first experience with myself after looking at the pictures taken by her, my first Sony Digital Camera that made me realize how lucky I am and how beautiful life is. My first Sony Digital Camera doesn’t only capture events but life itself.

It definitely gave significance in my life just like the Sony’s World’s First 24.6 MP Full Frame DSLR: α900 DLSR Camera, which will really make my life-capturing activity more fun, clear, lively and priceless.
