work your a** off

quickie lang...

TGIF! Whew! Busyness in life! After a long tiring week, it’s now Friday to regain my pooped body and frame of mind. I missed blogging a lot!!! I’ve been out for roughly TWO weeks, geez! I missed you guys! And though I got tons of homicidal and senseless chronicles to tell, my frigging body’s drained of oomph! Oh Noh! My work is dragging me off but “grins” there’s a good payoff aside from the last monetary remuneration, heh heh! Last weekend, I had my shopaholic experience at Greenhills and Rob Gale. I bought goodies for my nephews and niece; I couldn’t believe that I can now afford to buy them mobile phone, clothes, and etcetera…etcetera! Aha ha ha… a change of fate - from slum dog to a delusional middle class, ambitious chauvinist. And guess what, I had found simple keepsakes for my “dearly” “beloved” sissies at blogospheres - it’s a secret, shhhhh! Anyhow, here’s my thought for today. My frigging work, nah…my tiring yet pleasurable work – jerking KIDDING! From Marx’s points of view of work and human relations and through my economic professor’s golden words that life is different from work and vice versa work should not define your life, my stand about the definition of the worth of my work is embedded from the short talk I had with my tatay in one cold afternoon (years ago) while he was crankly drunk as he said, “you must find happiness at work”. That’s simple and skimpy yet it speaks for the truth, very snappy! So now, though I’m frigging tired I still go to work because I find happiness on it not just because I needed to work! Whew! Whatever Sunny! Hahahaha!

just a touch

It’s roughly twelve midnight, the air is cold yet the feeling is restful. Sitting in one of the steps of the stairway outside a food chain store in front of a busy road is one good diversion. It’s killing time. It’s also a waiting time, waiting for the possibilities to happen by watching the buses passing by laden with people in blank faces and “conductors” yelling and waving to draw persons along for the ride and by gazing to the people walking by busily, gaining steps ahead of others. It’s apparently a busy space on earth in the dead of the night. The lightened billboards of dazzling celebrities and models, the perfectly halved moon that looks like smiley grinning at me and the vibrant “tiangge” products – undies in multi-colored and multi-styled, home decors, phony watches, pirated DVDs, and a lot more commodities that serve as interludes for the busy scene, an instant eye strain remedy. This is a perfect setting to wonder about and to introspect about life. What am I thinking right now? Nothing much, I am just waiting for possibilities to happen. The possibility that one of the bus commuters would get off and sit beside me, the possibility that one person walking by would stop and say hi to me and then have a worth conversation, all the pathetic possibilities to come about. A possibility that someone would say “would you mind if I told I loved tonight? Or “wanna get laid with me?” ,oh noh, that’s too much of a good fortune, I’m considering it though, hah hah hah. Let’s get back into the drama. I’m talking about possibilities, the possibility of meeting someone and then to get in touch for a while by talking the commonalities, extremes or just anything or perhaps just a wordless companionship and then bye-bye, something like that. Okay! I know what you’re thinking right now. It’s kinda’ pathetic, right? Sometimes I do think of paying a professional freak to talk to me, or to listen to me instead but the heck that isn’t the way of life at the slums and primarily I’m broke for the professional fee, heh hehe, it just came into my wilderness thoughts. And sheesh, don’t ever think that I ain’t got friends coz I got few, this possibility is just a mere human need of interaction with no strings attached. This possibility that I am talking is part of my natural heart’s desire of friendship but with no extra connection. No extra connection - a friendship in a moment, a meeting up just to break the monotony of existence or just to get in touch with another flavor in life. Besides people use other people according to their own needs, so I guess this possibility is POSSIBLE.
So I’m gonna keep waiting for this possibility to happen, maybe next week, tomorrow or maybe NOW.

Wait, it’s already two o’clock in the morning! I’ve gotta be going! Heh heh!

a lil' mourn

Alright! Here I am again with my 10-min quickie post and blog hopping (oh busyness in life, heh heh heh).

Sheesh! My niece’s getting me sore with her temper tantrums and ear piercing cry. However, the villain is no other than her tito, heh heh! So talking about tantrums, just lately my sissy and I had a lethargic convo at the sofa and talked about raising children and handling the kiddo crabbiness. But “urghs” the convo streamed back to my childhood tantrum fiasco. I hate those times wherein the only thing I could do was to cry whenever I felt giving my homily of defense. Here’s my extravagant tantrum performance. Once we had a visitor, my cousin from far, far away land and just minutes before she arrived, I was admonished (hah hah hah) by my mother of faith. Ouchmatawie to the thousands power because I had no chance to stand for my rights of speech, it was hard for a kiddo, hahaha though my stand for sure was just a defensive dialogue. Anyhow here’s what happened. My cousin went to my filthy room and then after a moment she got out wearing a puzzled face and asked “ Meron bang nakikinig ng ‘AM’ radio sanyo? Yung radio ata dun sa kwarto ni Sunny nakabukas pa rin.”. My mum went at a complete loss knowing that no one’s listening to “AM” radio at home and for the fact that there was no radio on my room but after a second thought she knew what exactly it was. Then my mum blurted out “Sunny nandito pinsan mo, tama na dialogue mo dyan sa cabinet, mahiya ka naman”. Oh no, oh no! ha ha ha! That’s how I squeeze out my temper tantrums. At least my self-dialogue sounded like a radio announcer, how’s that? Hah hah hah! My cabinet had been my comfort zone and I felt so secured whenever I slumped down with my clothes. Though cabinets have been the usual scene of monsters and ghouls portals in movies and books, for me it’s a gateway for relief and relaxation.

Thought for today- how often do you cry and release the temper tantrums in this frigging world? Sheesh! In my case, everyday! I’ve read this line from a book - a little mourn each day is enough…yadah yadah but you oughtta rise and face the world. Is it right? Well, I live with that though! Anyhow, I guess I can still fit in my dresser and slump down but the heck I couldn’t cry out loud and say my oration of remorse. That’s pretty bad since crying silently is more heavy-going than crying out loud. Sometimes I wish that I was still a kid, haiz! Because the more you grow up the more problems are rising at your path. But I guess that’s real meaning of growing up, not in size but in maturity in facing the real picture of life. Sheesh, whatever!!! A lil mourn each day is enough, the sun’s still there and will soon shine high, yadah yadah! Bye for now! See ya later alligator! lol….
