Martial Arts are systems of codified practices and traditions of training for combat.

I once had an opportunity to kick someone’s ass(es). It was during my high school days, my summer activity, Taekwondo (aside from biking and badminton), trying to boost my sporty side ahah. It’s really fun jolting bumps into the so-called sacred combat zone, shouting “hiyeah, hayooo, shoo, oooh, hhh” while giving your best forty-five kick, round house, front and side kicks and the funky punches. Everything looked like and felt like the Bruce Lee’s dragon movies.
It was always a mix of thrill and nerves whenever I’d have a sparing. You wouldn’t know your next opponent, if it were larger, stronger, and brutally addict than you were. As a busybody, I always made it to attend every sparing game and spared my golden time during lectures, got bored during the blah blah and c. The worst thing that happened to me was when my opponent’s foot directly banged into my mouth and went through my oral cavity. That was gross, feeling his filthy toenails scratching my oral mucosa with the dirt and sand surcharging my saliva. Eeek, lol. Of course, my reflex reaction was to split out. Dammit, I received 30 knuckle push-ups by getting off the filth on my mouth. One memorable fight was with my friend’s suitor. I was really on the nerve to put his ass on the ground. Hit and combo hits. Then our coach or master (master-bater), yelled KALYO, that didn’t register to my thoughts and it’s impossible to happen. KALYO yelled our master (bater) again. The thought that came in to me was the calluses on my feet so I continued kicking my opponent’s ass until our coach, the master (bater) stepped into the battlefield and stopped our sparing fight. “Didn’t I tell you to stop?” said my coach in a tiger-look stare with me. Kalyo = Break. Again, I received 30 knuckle push-ups, the payoff of not attending the lectures. This is my story in martial arts, the belt isn’t an issue anymore, don’t bother to ask.

Here’s one martial arts that’s gaining popularity at this instant (in my world),

u hate me....

Nuisance is a weapon of destruction. It may even ruin the whole world but (to tell you boldly) it isn’t an ESCAPE. It is not a big eraser tagging along with you to erase the path that you took with someone (you loved before or may I say til’ now) and definitely, it is not a click on button to undo things.

So you think you’ll forget me (or I’ll get over you) by a bane of my existence and finding insufferable fault in a pointless condition?
No way.
The mere fact that you threw the spell of whammy to me stands for one big thing; you’re still in the relationship.
The mere fact that you’d want to block me implies one true thing; you’re still with me.
Relationship is not a one stop merry-go-around, riding happily on the carousel of endless love. It’s more of a roller-coaster ride. It would turn your guts (including your heart) and mushy emotions upside down. Bet you all have been live through to this worn-out justification. Moreover, I also bet that no matter how hard it is you’d still want to take a ride and then another ride and so forth til’ you bleed and die (in peace or in vain). And if you’re settled now (the lucky rider), I bet that you had an ample of fuzzy ride before finding the right one. Lastly, I bet that when you decide to settle down, you bet your whole life.
At the start of the ride, we have two options: to quit or to persist. If you decide to stay, you must ready yourself to descend into an unfathomable pit of qualms, however if you decide to quit, you oughtta ready yourself of falling hard on your knees. At the end of the ride, you still have two options: to love again or to love more. You may end up alone but not lonely if you fathom the other channels of love or you may end up internalizing the bearing of Narcissus.
Here’s a fact: The more you ignore the person, the closer the person get into your heart.
Thought: We can never end a story with thoughts hanging on the cliff. Talk about it. Have a proper closure. Patch it out. Don’t just pour out your madness on swearing. You’ll never know what will happen next…you’ll never know til’ you bet your life.

frozen in time

I went to the mall this morning to meet my friend and to accompany her in buying some stuffs. But before I left the house I had a gut feeling that something strange would happen. The day run out smoothly but when we wrapped up to drop by to a church because we were both feeling low about ourselves, the ambivalence burgeoned.

I had a pizza slice on my hand and a chiller drink on the other. While the heavy plastic bags hanging on my forearm. They usual scenario if you’re with a woman, taga-bitbit. We were walking on the side street and when we’re about to cross the road, we saw our high school friend with her boyfriend crossing the way. I got shocked and the time had stop before my eyes. My mouth dried up as a bone and I couldn’t even clear my throat.

Maria”, greeted my friend on a waiving hand. I remained at a halt on my place. Maria and her boyfriend went to our place. She gave her faint smile to us and kissed Rosh. Rosh and Maria are my few high school friends and they have the constant female bonding. However, on my part, it’s very seldom that we correspond to each other for I kept myself distant to her. I just don’t know what happened why I was having an odd feeling about her.
Hi Sunny, Maria greeted me gladly. I just gave her my soft smile.
Sunny, this Mike, said Maria, and then Mike gave his full-size smile. I absently took out my hand for the ritualistic shake hands. But I offered it first to Maria as if I just met her before making the acquaintance with her boyfriend.
Then I got speechless. Maria, Rosh and Mike were chatting while I was just looking at them as if I was on the other world observing, the third person.
I couldn’t find the right word to say. The words were dribbling on my head and I was having a hard time to coin a perfect statement.
I missed you a bit, I told her in a weak voice. She smiled and then grabbed the chiller on my hand. But I didn’t let it go, I kept it on one of the bags instead.
She talked to me but I wasn’t able to understand her, I was just looking to her jaws and mouth as she uttered the words. We were inch apart but I felt that we’re poles apart.
She’s different…she’s different, something’s wrong…
Then she said, we’ll go now. It brought to my consciousness. And I absently said, I Missed you a lot. Then I offered a hug on her. I warm hug.
